Contest

I really enjoy watching the television show Rob and Big. My brother-in-law actually got me hooked on it this season. It's just so humorous and really fun to watch! Recently I read of a contest that is going on for this show. They're asking people to try and design a t-shirt with the theme "my best friend". If your t-shirt is drawn you get 2000 dollars and more!! I thought this was a neat opportunity and may just have to consider doing it.

Britney Spears

I just was reading about Britney Spears getting taken by ambulance again to the hospital "to get help", as the police officer said to the press. Britney must really be going through a tough time in her life to have all of these things going on. She has shaved her head, attacked a car with an umbrella, not shown to court....her behavior is very odd. I'm glad that she's somewhere that is safe and where she can get help. She really needs it!!

I don't know about you, but I love it when I can find coupons for my favorite places to shop. It's especially nice that there are online coupons to different online stores since that's the kind of shopping I find myself doing more and more. Moving Company

If you've ever moved you know that it's a huge job that can be pretty overwhelming. I moved just under a year ago and I hope I don't have to move for quite some time now. If I ever do move again I know I'm going to look into a moving company to help me!! There are moving companies all over. Rehab

It seems lately you hear of so many young movie stars that are going to alcohol rehab, or rehab of some kind. Some of them it seems to work, and others it does not. I'm hoping that when they go to these centers that they are being treated the same as everyone else and getting the important help that they so badly need. I know people personally that have been to rehab programs, and they said it's not easy, but the best thing they've ever done.

Can Crusher

In the state where I live we can redeem our pop cans for 5 cents each. However, there are some states, like the one where my sister lives for instance that they do not redeem pop cans. They simply throw them away or recycle them. My sister and her husband actually want to find a can crusher, because it allows for them to be able to store them more easily until it's time for recycling. I think this is a great idea, and maybe a Christmas idea for next year. They'd really like that.

Nice Relaxing Night

Today I got quite a bit done. I always like to get my work done before the weekend gets here and I sure got a good start on it. I got lots of laundry done and did some cleaning around my place. New Show

I just saw previews for a new show on television that starts tonight. It's called The Moment of Truth. It's where people are asked questions and have to tell the truth. It seems pretty simple...but from the previews it's a pretty deep show. I'm going to watch it just to see what it's like, but I'm not sure if it's the kind of show I'd want to watch all the time.

Needing some warmth

Sometimes I wish I had a fireplace in my apartment. It's been so cold out there lately that I really would like some warmth. Whenever I'm at my sister's place they always have their fireplace going. It's so nice and warm in there. I know it's not possible to have one in my place...but it makes me want to find a house that has one when I'm looking down the line. Here in the midwest it's something that would be really great to have.

Nice Gift

I've sure enjoyed having my camera. I got a nice digital camera from my parents for Christmas and have really enjoyed using it. I find myself taking pictures of all kinds of things. I like to get pics of my girlfriend and I, as well as my family and my new niece and nephew. Digital cameras are so nice too...because it's so easy to get the pictures you want and then delete the ones you don't want. What a nice gift.

Although I like sports, I've never been a huge football fan like my brother and brother-in-law. They however love watching the game and would give anything to go to a Super Bowl game someday. Heath Ledger

Wow...I was pretty surprised when I heard that Heath Ledger had died yesterday. It seems kind of mysterious that a 28 year old actor would just be found dead in his apartment. They say that they found sleeping pills near him, but I'm wondering if there's not more to the story?! It seems kind of odd to me. I guess we'll have to see what further investigation into his death shows. I'm interested in learning the whole story.

Kentucky Derby

I have never been a huge sports nut, but I do enjoy watching horse racing. In fact, I would really love to go to the Kentucky Derby some time. I would just love to take some time off from work and enjoy a nice little vacation to watch the horse racing. Sleeping In

I just love my Saturdays. It's the only day during the week when I get to sleep in...and let me tell you...I am the type of guy who likes to sleep in!! It's always nice to be able to stay up late and sleep in as long as I want. Now however, I have some work to do. Almost Done

Vacation Time

It's that time of year when I'm really ready for a vacation. Not just a break from work...but just to get away somewhere warm. Extra $$

For a while there, blogging to make money was going pretty slow for me. Not only were the companies that I work for not putting out many opportunities, but I was not around as much to do the work that I once was able to do. American Idol

My mom informed me today that tonight is the night that American Idol continues (it started last night). I didn't used to get into this show much, but ever since my mom got me hooked on it, I just love watching it! The beginning is the best, because this is when they go through the auditions and show all of the bloopers and things. It's fun to watch everyone trying out...good and bad singers alike. More Snow

Last night we got a bit of snow here where I live. It had been a while since it had snowed here, so everyone was pretty surprised to see it falling. HD Television

I have been talking with my sister lately and I'm strongly considering selling them my HD television so I can get a new one. When I do finally get a newer and bigger one, I am definitely going to look into getting some HDMI cables. I can't believe it's already Sunday! It seems like just yesterday I was saying that it was Friday and how I was SO looking forward to the weekend! I did have a good weekend. No Fun

I haven't exercised in a while, but recently decided to do a little aerobic exercise at a local gym. I can't tell you how sore I am today. I really didn't think a half hour work out would cause me to be so sore today...but it really did. I think I need to ease into a bit and not go full out next time. Mirgraines

Going to bed earlier last night sure helped my head. I can't believe what a little rest and sleep can do for my head. Migraines tend to run in my family....and from what I've learned over the years, it's very important to eat right and get plenty of rest. Massage Chair

Every time I'm in a store and walk by one of those Massage Chairs...I really consider buying it. I think it would be wonderful to have something like this...as I struggle from back pain from sitting all day at work. Wanting an SUV?

There are only a few times throughout the year that I wish that I had an SUV. One of those being this time of year, with all the crappy snow and ice that we've gotten. The other would be when I need to move something. Luckily my girlfriend has one and it's nice for those two reasons, and she let's me use it when I need it. New Elliptical

My sister and her husband bought an elliptical and I guess it just arrived at their house yesterday. Scott put it together last night and Jenna is really excited to begin using it. When she was in college she used to work out on an elliptical some...and she said that it really showed results. Now that she is a stay-at-home-mom it's not easy to get out and exercise so she's happy to have an elliptical in their home. Warm Weather Please

The weather outside today is pretty chilly. For a few days there it was getting fairly warm, which was causing quite a bit of fog out there in the mornings. Scrapbooking

It seems that scrapbooking has become quite the hobby for many women around the world. My sister, Jenna was just telling me that she wishes she had more time and the talent to do this. She would just love to take the pics she has of her little girl and put them in a great album. My sister-in-law is great at doing all of that stuff!! Moving

I really enjoy anything dealing with technology. That's kind of a given for anyone who knows me. Recently, when my sister and her husband moved to their new house I was helping them hook up all of their electronics like computers, televisions, etc. My brother-in-law was working, and my sister didn't know where all of the cables went and stuff...so I helped out with that kind of stuff.

New Home

The time is nearing when I'm going to be looking for a house of my own. I'm glad that my sister recently went through the whole home buying process just recently, because she's taught me a lot about the real estate business and all that goes into buying a home. It sounds like a lot of work, but between realtors and mortgage consultants it shouldn't be too bad when I decide to make the big move.

Waiting...

I can't believe today is already Wednesday! When a holiday like New Years lands during the week, it sure makes the work week short and sweet! I'm actually hoping this work week goes by quickly, not only because I get to go back and see my family and niece and nephew this weekend...but also because on Friday I will hear if I got that promotion or not. I'm really hoping I will...and know that whatever is supposed to happen will happen!
