With Christmas having just passed, I have found myself shopping for many gifts. It use to be that I would go to the nearest Mall. I would often not find what I was looking for and the time I spent was crazy. Well, now with buy.com it is so simple. Just look up what you are hunting for and make the purchase. Christmas

Well, Christmas has come and gone. Boy, does time sure fly. We have had some fun family gatherings and had a lot of laughs. I am still spending time with my family and things have gone smoothly up until last night. My parents wash machine decided to act up and began to flood their basement. At 2:30 in the morning we were down there sucking up water until 4:30AM. Not fun! I'm glad we were there to help them though.

Researching Cars

Recently I've been in the market for a new car. I've seriously been looking at the new Audi, but since no one I know has one...I've been relying on the information I can find online for most of my questions. I recently came across OnCars which is probably the best site when it comes to getting great information on the best cars.

Bad Weather

Well...I'm officially frustrated with my car. I wanted to go and find a new vehicle, but when the one I have is stranded in all of this snow it's kind of hard. I will be hitching a ride back home to my parents for the holidays with my brother and his family. I will then be bringing back my sister's second vehicle until I can get a new one. It's just frustrating since I like my car so much. I hope that this weather will get better soon!

Diet Pills

Are weight loss pills the up and coming thing to lose weight or what?? It seems like I see more and more ads and products in the stores for this and figured many people are using them and seeing results. I have never tried any diet pills, but that's not to say I would be against it at some point. I think I would just need to learn a little more about them to see if that was the very best option for me. There are so many things these days....there may be something better?

Buying Gifts

I would have to say the easiest little people to buy Christmas gifts for are my little niece and nephew. They love just about anything. I enjoyed looking over their wishlists and appreciating the variety they had on there. I decided to get them a couple of Christian books for kids, as well as something else that I'm keeping a surprise until Christmas. Hopefully they like what they get?! I think they will. They're parents will be happy too I think.

Christmas presents

I've been trying to decide what to get my mom and sister for Christmas. I know, I know...it's getting close and I don't have much time left but girls are not easy to shop for, that's for sure! They both enjoy nice things...clothing, jewelry, shoes etc...basically everything any other girl would love. That's why I've decided that I would get them something Oscar de la Renta. I hope they like it. I've heard good things so I'm sure that they will.

Needing a Break

Wow...I can't believe the weekend is already coming to an end. It's crazy how quickly it goes by. The weeks seem to drag and the weekends fly by. I don't know what it is...maybe the fact that soon I will be getting a much needed week of time off for the holidays or what....but lately I"ve been feeling like it's just dragging. Hopefully I can get rested over my time off and refresh before coming back to work. I'm sure that's all it is.

Fast Business Loan

Do you have a business that's feeling the heat of the economic downturn we're in? I know my business does. I'm just getting a web design business started and I'm already seeing the effects our economy is having on it. TGIF

Yeah!! I'm off from work and ready to spend a quiet weekend at home with Mylie. i'm really looking forward to it, I don't get many weekends when we don't have anything to do. I'm planning on doing some cleaning, renting some movies, looking for a new car, and just resting and catching up on my sleep before the next work week begins. I'm thinking I may also catch up on some of my business online too...we'll have to see.

Hats

I am the type of person who never used to wear hats, but the older I get....the more I like to wear them. I like to wear all kinds. I wouldn't go as far to say that I wear beanies, but I do like different styles. I have found great sites online that I can find great hats for very reasonable prices. I'm actually currently looking to get one for my brother, brother in law and dad. They all have different styles so it's been fun searching around. Hopefully I find them soon...Christmas is almost here!

New Car

I sent my brother in law an interesting e-mail yesterday. I asked him to do something for me....to find a new car that I could drive easily in the winter time. I gave him two different models, a price range and more. He is pretty good at finding things online, even cars. So far he has actually already found a couple of things and it's really exiting. I hope he find more as I'm really anxious to get a new one. We'll see how it goes...

Relaxing Weekend

I'm happy to say that it's Thursday!! That means I have one more day and the weekend is finally here. It's been a very busy week, one that's gone by way too slowly. Car Problems

So, the passed week has been a bit of a bummer for me. This last summer I bought a new RX8 and love it. But....I had no idea how it would handle in the winter months. Unfortunately, I have found out the hard way and am not pleased. It's nearly impossible to drive these kinds of cars in snow like we've been getting. I'm saddened to say that I may be looking to trade it in for something a bit more reliable. The other day I couldn't even make it to work and had to have someone come get me. I was stuck in the snow...the emergency light was on and everything. Very frustrating.

The Holidays

In a couple of weeks I get the opportunity to head home for the holidays. I'm planning on starting out at my sister's house, and then will head to my parents closer to the actual day. I'm excited to see everyone again. It's been a while since we had our whole family together....so that will be great. Rough Week

Is it only Tuesday?? Yikes! This week is going by very slow compared to most weeks. I think it's because I've had a rough start to the week. My car has been giving me troubles with all this winter weather and I am not in search for a new car. I really like mine, but had no idea it would not handle well on the snowy roads. I couldn't even drive to work yesterday, but had to hitch a ride. Hopefully the rest of the week goes better.

Luggage

I never used to travel, but now with my new job I do quite often. I have found that I really need some good Delsey luggage, so I've been doing some looking. My job will pay for it and they want me to have something reliable and durable. I have looked many places and haven't found anything yet. I'm looking forward to finding a set though....I've heard it will be very good luggage that will last me a long time.

Franchise Opportunity

I have always thought it would be great to get started in a business of my own. More and more people are doing it these days. Irritating

Do you ever get irritated with the internet? I love it, but sometimes when it acts up I could just throw my computer out the window. I don't like it when sites aren't working correctly, or they take FOREVER to load! Especially when I absolutely need to get work done. Have you ever heard of the Blackhawk Network before? I hadn't, but was impressed to learn that they are the largest third-party provider of prepaid gift cards. They did some research dealing with shopping this holiday season and it appears that there is some interesting information regarding gift cards and the holidays that others may be interested in learning.

As a shopper have you heard in the news that there are many retailers who are struggling and no longer accepting gift cards? If so, you may not want to believe everything you hear. It seems more like a gift that way. Finally, they found that consumers still plan on buying gift cards even with the media coverage and lack of valid information. In fact, the Deloitte's Holiday Survey has shown that for the 5th year now, gift cards are expected to be the top gift purchased.

New Stuff

This weekend was great! I've been so busy working lately, that it was wonderful to take a break and spend some time with family! My parents came down to visit yesterday for the day. We went out to eat, went shopping and just hung out. It was great! I ended up buying a few things for my place which was really exciting too! I have been wanting a new area rug and bookshelf and yesterday I found them. Notice the lovely C-mas tree as well! :)
