Recently my sister had her third child by C-Section and while she was in the OR they put her one of their hospital carts. After the surgery they moved her from the operating table to a hospital cart or hospital bed and wheeled her back to her room to recover. It is really amazing at how fast the body can recover from such a traumatic experience.

We have finally set a date! We will be getting married June 10th of 2012. I am so excited and can't believe it's finally all set. I have been waiting along time to finally get settled down with the love of my life, and am really looking forward to beginning our lives together. My sister does a lot of picture taking. She has two kids and third on the way so family pictures are what she spends most of her time on. She also uses a camera a lot with her home business. I have heard her say often how nice it would be to have a canon slr. I did a little researching and found that the canon t1i price price is not as bad as I thought it would be. I would have never guessed that there was so much that goes into planning a wedding. We are just in the beginning stages of our planning and we are running into problems of where to get married. Growing up, I loved going out to my friends house in the country to ride their ATV's. Every time I rode one I would get off it amazed at just how much it could do and go through. I was talking with my sister and she said her 1 year old broke her favorite pair of sunglasses. She was so bummed. I felt bad for her and am now looking for a new pair of cheap sunglasses for her. I know it would make her day! Some how the ones she had got snapped in the middle when he sat on them. She wore them a lot, so I know she'd really appreciate a new pair. Hopefully I can find something really similar to the white pair that she had. I'm planning to give them to her in October for her birthday.

Motocross

I used to be pretty active and athletic. With time though, I have gotten worse at keeping to a routine of exercising and getting out and staying active. Having a full time job and then getting my masters pretty much fills my weeks (and weekends usually). I wouldn't have thought twice about doing something like motocross even when I was younger, and now all I can think of is getting hurt and having to get motocross knee braces. Maybe I'm just getting old?! Or, maybe it's just been too long since I've been really active?! Either way, I'd love to get my confidence back and take part in something like that. I think it would be a lot of fun and something I could do with my free time.

Everyone knows that I love technology, but when it comes down to the things that interest me...you might be surprised. For instance, I love phones and computers...but when it comes to things like cameras, I really don't know that much and up until recently...didn't really care. As I get older and am doing more with my life...I think having a nice camera would be great. My Girfriend and I recently went on a trip to California and would have loved a reliable camera. I have been looking at olympus cameras, but have yet to make a decision. I'm hoping soon to have that I can call my own though.

When I was younger I had acne problems. It really affected my self esteem and makes me feel for the young teens that have to deal with it. Thankfully, mine has cleared up...however, I still would like to find a good blackhead remover for my skin. That's the one issue I still have. Updates to my home

I never thought I'd be the kind of person who would care so much about updating my home and making it look nice. The truth is though, once I bought a place and it was actually mine...I cared a whole lot more. Over the past couple of years I've done quite a bit to my home. It's looking good, but I will admit, there are some things that I could do outside to update it more too. I think some landscaping and even a house address plaques would look really nice. I do have some patio furniture and flowers already and that adds a lot.

It seems like every year water does some sort of damage to things I own. From the leaks in my spray nozzle to the holes in my garden hose. The cold Iowa winters sure do a number on my water equipment with all the freezing and thawing. So I am going to go out and buy a durable teflon hose that can with stand the elements of mother nature. Strong, long lasting and pretty much damage proof.

Dark Circles

I don't have a lot of problems with wrinkles, gray hair or other things that would otherwise make me look older...however, one thing I do struggle with is dark circles. I don't necessarily think this is old age as much as it is not getting enough sleep. The problem is, I have lots going on between school and work and don't get as much rest as I should. That's why I've been looking hard for dark circles under eyes treatment online. We'll see what I end up coming up with, and hopefully it works well!

As I get older I realize how important it is to take care of myself. I have to admit, when I was younger, that wasn't really one of my top priorities. I thought about going to see my sister and her family this weekend, but they were busy at a huge consignment sale. They go every Spring and Fall to find clothes for their kids. It's actually a great way to get what they need at affordable prices. I wish it were something available in Iowa. I am not a huge fan of cleaning, I'll be honest. However, with spring just around the corner I thought it was time to really get organized and get rid of some things I don't need anymore. As I searched through tubs and boxes that I hadn't seen forever, I came across some fun things that brought back a lot of memories. For instance, when I was in High School I worked at a car center and found my old nurse uniform. I also found several books that I kept from college and actually enjoyed reading. In my young life I have already had 5 different cars and all have come with their share of problems. My first car I had a 1993 Ford Probe, which was a great car and I ended up selling it to my brother. Next was a 1996 Ford Probe, this was my favorite car, it was a manual transmission. This means I always had to set my parking brake. The 2001 Eclipse had a few engine problems, and the 2004 Mazada RX8 couldn't make it through the winter months. And now I'm in a 2008 BMW, which is great and no problems thus far.

When I visited my sister over the holidays, she was telling me that they were working on replacing all of the lights in the bedrooms with ceiling fans. I can't blame her. I have some in my place and love them! It's so nice to have the light and the fan when I need them. I have a feeling they'll really like them. I have owned my Condo for just over a year now and over that period of time I have do many upgrades. I have painted every room and replaced my refrigerator with a stainless steel one. My sister and her husband recently bought a new SUV. They needed something larger for their growing family and the Mountaineer is absolutely perfect. My parents are growing older and as they do they have shared of the battle of weight gain. Neither one of them has ever really had a problem in that area. Now as the years roll on they find themselves researching ways to lose those unwanted pounds. They have found that through the internet you can read up on lipozene reviews and other diet solutions. This weekend my brother and his family are officially moving into their new house. They are very excited, and I couldn't be happier for them! My sister and her family and my parents are all coming down to help them. I have a big paper to write for school...or I would be there in a heartbeat. Can you believe that Christmas will be here in just a couple of months?! It hardly seems possible, but it hit me today as walked through the stores and saw Christmas stuff already. Crazy! Halloween and Thanksgiving haven't even passed yet. Oh well...I love this time of year and am more than happy to check out all the decorations. I'm into technology, but have yet to get an ipod. I guess I just don't have much use for it, but I have family like my dad who loves his. I think he likes it for many reasons...the music, internet, etc. I don't blame him...it does sound pretty cool. I have read up a lot about Apple iPods, including the iPod touch. That looks very neat! Who knows, maybe at some point I will get one. It's pretty much like an iPhone without the cell phone contract which is pretty cool if you ask me.

I feel very blessed to have the job that I do, but feel badly for those who do not have a job. I was hoping that jobs would be more plentiful, but it seems people are still getting laid off and let go everywhere we turn. It's tough, because this makes the situation our economy is in even harder. I hope that things begin to look up soon. It would be so great for everyone looking for a new start. Making Every Year of Marriage Special!

Although I'm not married yet, I have noticed that many of the people who are that I am close with make a bigger deal about their 5 year, 10 year, etc. wedding anniversaries than they do the years in between. I have made a promise to myself that I want to make every anniversary as special as the last when I get married. Why not?! I don't see why a 10th wedding anniversary should be celebrated any more than a second wedding anniversary. When a person is married...each years should be such an exciting time!

I think most would consider me a romantic guy, so anniversaries in my marriage will definitely consist of thoughtful gifts for my wife. Each year I will be looking for anniversary gifts by year. I am sure there are plenty of great ideas out there. Whether it be something simple like a stuffed teddy bear or a glass rose...I will always do my best to let my wife know just how special she is. I think it's great to celebrate every single day you have with your significant other...and what better way to do that than with a thoughtful gift?!

I've lived in my condo for over a year now, and in that time have really done a lot of updating. I'm proud of the changes I have made, it sure has made a difference. Paint and new light fixtures really are nice. Now, all I would really like to do is the carpet and the faucets in the bathroom and kitchen. I think once those things are done, this place will be complete. When it comes time to sell, I have a feeling I will have spent on the right things to increase the value and really make it more marketable. I hope anyways.

Today was my first opportunity to use the grill that my brother-in-law had given me. Renee and I decided to go to Wal-Mart and get some meat to grill. I have been out of college for a few years now and have just recently started thinking about going back.
