New House

My sister and her husband moved up to Minnesota a while back. When they moved there, they hadn't looked for houses or anything so they decided to rent a house that Scott's uncle was willing to let them live in. They really liked it there, but were wanting something to call their own. In looking around for quite some time, they finally found the house of their dreams. From what I understand, there's tons of real estate up where they're living. This actually was nice for them because they had a wide selection of houses to choose from! In fact, where they live right now...there are like 4 houses for sale in that neighborhood. There's even land for sale in the area. I guess it's a growing town though, because the houses and land go quick.

Fall Weather

Once again the weather has turned again. Yesterday when I woke up it was pretty dreary and then by afternoon the sun was shining bright. Even with the sun though, it was still very cold out. Now today, I woke up and the sun was shining bright, and it's actually very warm!! Warm enough where I don't even like to be wearing long sleeves outside. I guess that's how fall is though. I shouldn't complain...soon the cold bitter weather will be here and then I'll really be hoping for the warmth again.

Ashop

Had never really heard of Ashop Commerce before just recently when I was browsing the web. As many of my readers know by now, I love to find new types of things dealing with computers and technology. Ashop shopping cart software is actually something that's right up my alley. I've always said that I think it would be great to start up my own business and be able to start up a website that allowed my customers to buy online. Ashop makes this easy for merchants to do who are a part of a small or medium sized business. They have so many features to choose from, and designs that you can use to create your site. This ecommerce software is unlike any that I've ever come across before. Not only is their product great, but they care for their customers and show it by having wonderful technical support when you need their help. I strongly urge you to take a look at their site and learn more about this shopping cart software. You won't be disappointed! Besides, you have nothing to lose. They give you a 10 day free trial period so you can figure out if Ashop is right for you. Go ahead, check them out and see what you think.

Wow

Wow, I can't believe it's already 9:00!! Where do the days go?! I usually don't go to bed too early...but seeing how it's almost 9:00 already...that means bedtime is right around the corner. I know that I've had the chance to take a nap today...but I wouldn't mind getting to bed a little early tonight...just to make sure I'm rested for the week ahead. Once the week starts, I don't have a lot of time to nap or relax...so I better take advantage of it while I can on the weekends.

Air Conditioner

Lately the weather has been really nice, but it's been getting pretty warm out again. With all this warm weather again, I've had to turn back on the air conditioning...especially at night. For a few nights there I was not sleeping well because I was so warm. I had to turn my air down quite a bit just to get it to cool my place off enough so I could sleep. I think it may be off a little bit, because I can have it on 73 and it still feels like it's 80 in here. I may need to get that checked out.

One week

Well the countdown is on...with only one week left until I get to go back and see the fam. I think I will head back on Friday night so that I'm able to go up and see my sister's place. She's been wanting me to come see their new home...so I want to be sure to make time to do that. So yeah...hopefully this week goes by quickly so I can head back and enjoy the time that I get to see everyone. It should be a good time.

Home Improvement

Sometimes when you move into a new home there's lots of improvements to be made. I'm sure many of you already know this if you've bought your own home before. My sister and her husband recently found this out when they bought they're first home, which is a really nice one. Although there really isn't anything that needs to be done right away...they do have some things that they'd like to do to the house down the road. They realize though, that home improvements are not cheap. Things like doors, windows, siding, a conservatory...all of that costs money!! That's why they're just taking it one thing at a time. They have a great place to live and nothing needs to be done right away. UK homeowners know something about home improvement, and where they can get good quality home improvements! Anglian is the place to go if you're amongst UK homeowners. Check out their site to learn more.

Celebrities

Does anyone else get tired of hearing about certain stories in the news these days? I know I do!! It seems like when the stories surround the movie stars, that's all we hear about! I'd rather hear about real news...not OJ getting locked up again, or Paris Hilton going to jail. It seems that we make more out of a celebrities troubles than we do the important things that are going on in our lives. I don't know about you, but I sure get tired of hearing about these celebs and the things they're getting in trouble for every day.

My Sister

My sister has just been having a blast being at home during her pregnancy. She and her husband moved right when they found out she was pregnant. So, instead of going out and looking for a teaching job...she decided to be a stay at home wife since she plans on staying home with the baby once he/she arrives next month. It's been so nice for her...especially through all of the morning sickness and their big move to their new home. She's also gotten quite good at blogging for money. It's been a nice second income for them, which is great!

Do you like doing laundry?

I wonder how many people out there actually enjoy doing laundry?! I've always wondered this. I for one, HATE doing laundry!! I don't like having to carry my clothes down to the only washer and dryer in my building and have to watch them every hour or so. I think it would be much more pleasant to do laundry if I had my own home with my own washer and dryer. It's not fun always having to scrape up quarters and then watch my laundry like a hawk so no one throws my laundry on top of the dryer and puts their sin the washer. GRRR...I can't wait to have my house someday!

If you are like me and want a vacation that's not only relaxing but also luxurious and offers great food...then you may want to take a look at Karisma Hotels. Basically, everything is still inclusive, but instead of having to go around to buffet tables, you are served outstanding food! That's my kind of vacation. Not only is their food amazing, but they have such luxurious accommodations and the best entertainment. Well, it's happened again. I have every intention to get some work done, but I find myself busy on the computer for much of the morning. Vaccinations hurting our little ones?

I'm not sure about you, but it seems to me that getting your children vaccinated is becoming more and more controversial. I was recently doing a little research on this...with two babies on the way in my family, and was astounded to find so much information out there about vaccinations and their potentially life threatening, and life altering components. I had never really thought about it much, until I heard in the news that they're having problem with a certain vaccination that is causing terrible strains of ear infections that are difficult to treat with antibiotics. If you have not done your research about vaccinations, I strongly urge you to do so. It's quite interesting and informative.

After having the cooler weather last week, most of the bugs and insects seemed to have disappeared or went into hiding. Birth Announcements

With both my sister-in-law and my sister expecting their first children at the end of next month...I hear a lot about the plans and things they've been doing to prepare. One thing I know that they're both talking about are birth announcements. They both think it would be cool to send out birth announcements, only make them themselves. House Projects

When my sister and her husband bought their new home last month, there were some minor things that they wanted to do to the house right away. They wanted to do some painting, get new front doors, put new lights up outside the house, and maybe even get some landscaping lights at some point. They've done everything except for the landscaping lights up to this point...and boy what a difference! It made such a difference just getting a new door and new lights on the outside of the house, and painting a couple of the rooms inside.

What a relief!

While my parents were down visiting this weekend, my sister kept calling my mom. I felt bad for her, because she was pretty stressed with all the baby shower stuff going on. I guess there have been many changes to the time and location of the shower, and it was just stressing her out because she knew that there were only certain times that would work. Thankfully they all figured something out and the invitations are done. Jenna was relieved and so were Scott's aunts, the one's planning the whole thing.

The weather has been really weird lately. For the past week or so it's been in the lower 60's, and at night it actually gets below freezing temps. Now, I watch the forecast for the week starting tomorrow and it looks like we're going to have temps up in the 70's and 80's again. It's really weird for the weather to get so cold, and then so warm again...all within a couple weeks. Cars

When I was younger, like in high school, I was really into cars. I hung out with a group of friends that just loved cars too. We would do all sorts of cool things to the bodies of the cars to make them look really awesome. We would even do things to the insides of the cars as well. One thing that I didn't have, but many of my friends had, as an addition to their fast vehicle were radar detectors. I never really had an interest in getting one, but they all just loved theirs. To each their own I guess.

Noah's Ark Crib Mobile

My sister was telling me recently that she had been looking for a mobile for their nursery. Their baby is due next month, so they are trying to get everything together before his/her arrival. She looked and looked and really didn't find any that she liked a lot that were in her price range. Today she said she found one on ebay for a great price...barely used, and it fits in with their Noah's Ark theme. I was happy to hear that...as I know she was really looking forward to getting one that matched.

SCORE

There are many children who struggle in school. Why not help them out by getting them Math Tutors, reading tutor, or other tutor to help them in the areas where they struggle most. It's no fun to struggle in school, and that's where Score Learning Centers can help. If you're looking for a great program to help your child make academic progress, then I suggest you take a look at SCORE. I know I am going to if my children ever need extra assistance.

Marking my calendar

I'm looking forward to the end of this month...as it will be the first weekend in a couple of months that I will be able to go home and visit my family again. I feel bad that it's been so long, but it just seems that I've been busy most weekends. I'm looking forward to getting to see my sister's new house that weekend, as well as going out with the family for my Grandpa's 80th birthday!! It should be a good time. I can't wait.

Blogging

A great company that I've found is really fun and easy to work and make some money by blogging is Blogitive. I have found many different "get paid to blog" companies, but there are only a few that I really enjoy working for. Blogitive is one of them, PPP is another, and Payu2blog is yet another. If you're interested in making some extra money, look into these companies.

Vacation Homes

Many of you may or may not be thinking about where you'd like to go on your C-mas vacation or Spring Break vacation this year. I know that I've thought about it, and I'm strongly considering Florida. I just like Florida. The weather is beautiful, they have so many theme parks, beaches, dinner shows, attractions....it's just such a great place to go. I've even been researching Vacation homes in Orlando. Have you ever thought about looking into these. I am going to do a bit more research, but it's definitely a possibility for me the next time I'm down in Orlando. You should check out their site and see if this is something you'd like as well.

Renee

It's been so nice having Renee back down here in CF. She started school up again, so she moved down to the house that she is renting with some friends. I enjoy having her down here, because I get to see her almost every day. Last year we lived in adjoining dorm buildings, so this year is a little different. It's still better than her being in California and me being here in Iowa though. That made for a long and lonely summer. I appreciate the time I get to spend with her so much and just love having her around.

Feeling like Cappuccino

I am someone who really enjoys a good cup of coffee. Normally that's all I need...nothing in it or anything. But today I'm just craving more of a cappuccino than I am a coffee. My mom has told me a great way to make a yummy cappuccino using coffee and chocolate cocoa. I'm gonna have to try that today, as it just sounds so good!

Have a great day!

I'm not sure how much time I will be able to spend on here today, as I have a lot I need to get done before the weekend. It seems that the work just piles up towards the end of the week, ya know?! I will try and write more later if I get the chance to get back on my computer. Have a wonderful day and may the Lord bless you!

Macaroni and Cheese

Some nights I just don't feel like making a big meal, especially since most of the time it's just me eating. Last night I really wanted macaroni, so I made that and threw in some hot dogs. It didn't take long at all and tasted very good. I may have to make that more often. It's quick, and a very cheap meal.

Multivend

Multivend is known for their machine, the Vendstar 3000. You may have heard of it before. But what you may not have heard is that they recently enhanced this machine by adding some really great things to it. The first is the Vendstar EZ Count Meter which allows vendors to get the exact change that they need. They also added a 1 inch wheel which allows the machine to dispense gumballs and toy capsules. Isn't that great?! I thought this was really great, because now it allows for vendors to expand the things they offer within in their business. If you're interested in learning more about multivend or this machine, please feel free to check out their site today.

Baby Moving

My sister recently told me how much the baby has been moving. I guess in the beginning it just started out as almost feeling like popcorn popping. Then it went on to feel like stronger and stronger kicks. Now towards the end she can definitely feel the baby moving and turning all over the place. Scott really enjoys it, because you can actually see the baby rolling around. Last night the baby was moving so much that they could actually feel his/her little leg. Pretty cool!

Cleaning Day

Usually Thursday is when I try and do most of the cleaning around my place. Sometimes I'll wait until Friday, but it seems that if I wait too long, that something comes up and then it doesn't get done. It's just easier to do it on Thursday because then I'm done and can enjoy my weekend with whatever I have planned. I guess that means tonight when I get home from work I"ll have to get busy cleaning my place and doing laundry.

Martin Worldwide

If you know anything about the direct marketing industry, then you know that Martin Worldwide is one of the leaders. This company has great mailing list products, telemarketing lists and fax Lists, that it offers to small businesses and clients. One of their products is ResponseCom, which has proven to be quite successful. It's a blend of US Response and US Consumer databases, which really is offering clients a great product that is very versatile. I really like the fact that this product wasn't just created overnight, but is a result of years and years of planning. If you would like to learn more, check out their site today.

New Pack N' Play

It sounds like my parents got my sister and her husband a really nice pack n play for when the baby comes. I've never really seen one of these in person, but it sounds pretty nice. It's a very sturdy one that comes with a bassinet, changing table and mobile. Scott and Jenna were really happy to get this, as it will work wonderfully as a bassinet and play pen.

Payu2blog

I am someone who has already really enjoyed the computer and internet, especially new ways to make money online by use of my blog. Although I have come across different money making sites before, Payu2blog is probably my absolute favorite! Payu2blog allows people to take part in Blog Advertising, while still being able to keep their blogs personal and not taken over by sponsored posts. They also are very good at communicating with their bloggers, as well as giving them a steady work flow each week! I urge anyone looking to make some extra money to check out Payu2blog today.

Personal Injury Lawyer

I think probably one of the biggest things when someone is looking for a lawyer to represent them is wanting to make sure, first, that they have a case, and second, that they have someone who has integrity and gives you personal attention about the situation you are facing. If you are looking for a lawyer like this, I suggest you take a look at a Raleigh personal injury lawyer. They are here to help you. Check them out on their site today.

Real Estate

My sister and her husband recently bought a new home. By the sounds of it, they are just loving to live in a place that they can call their own! They're able to do what they like with it and not worry about having to ask a landlord like they have had to do in the past. I'm just happy that the whole buying process and looking for real estate went so well for them! Now they are all settled for their first baby, due next month.

Is it Wednesday already?

I can't believe it's Wednesday already. Doesn't it seem like it should be Monday?? I think it does. I think since there was a holiday this past Monday and I didn't have to work, that my week is just flying by!! I'm already halfway through my work week, which is just great with me! I'm seriously considering going back home this weekend since I didn't last weekend, so the sooner it gets here, the better.

Experience Harlem

If you have ever been to New York, you know how overwhelming it can be, so much to see and so little time. Harlem is just one of the areas that many would like to see but may not know how to go about it, so they don't see it. In February 2006 Harlem New York Real Estate came up with the idea of providing tours for those who want to see the real Harlem. Harlem New York Estates can give you a tour of Harlem the way no other company can. They invite you to experience the sites and sounds of Harlem during one of its many exciting tours that will show you the Black Mecca in an “up close and personal” way. Not many can do that for you, so check them out the next time you are in New York.
