I cannot believe it...I woke up this morning and it was raining outside!! We haven't had rain in so long! The temps are usually too cold for it to rain...so it was a nice change. I am so happy that the weather has been warmer lately. I think it's probably been a week or so that I even had my heat on. That's great for me, because my utility bill was sure getting up there. I didn't want to freeze in my apartment this winter, so when it was cold...I cranked it up. Next winter I will probably be more careful to not crank it up so high...it sure costs a lot of money.

I have been looking for a new pair of shoes for quite a while. I have a lot of dress shoes now, because of my job...but not a lot of comfy shoes that I can just wear out and about. I'd really like to get a pair of skate shoes...and maybe even a pair of running shoes. We'll have to see if I can find the time to get online and look around...it sure would be nice though. Maybe I should give this idea to my girlfriend as a birthday idea...since it's only a week away.

I have been thinking a lot about beginning to look for a new place to live. I'm thinking I may actually look into buying a house. I would just love more room, and I'd love to be putting my money into something...rather than throwing it down the drain with renting. When I do begin looking, there are certain things I KNOW I want my house to have. I want it to have at least three bedrooms and a big basement. I think a big basement would be nice, because that way it could be used as a family room, as well as a place to keep all of my fitness equipment...kind of like a workout area as well. Hopefully there will be something I really like when the times comes to look.

I would love nothing more than to buy each of my siblings swing sets for their little ones. I now have a niece and nephew who are both almost 5 months old. I'm sure sooner than later they will be walking around, and will be big enough to enjoy a swing set of some kind. I've been looking around just for fun, and there are so many out there. When I was little we had a pretty nice one, and I'm thinking I'd like to get them something similar. As long as there's some kind of slide, a couple of swings, and some other fun stuff...I'm sure they'd have a blast!

It's FRIDAY!! I am SO excited about that! I say this all the time, but I really love my job. However, who doesn't enjoy a couple of days off to just relax, right?! I know I do. I'm not sure what I'm going to do, but it's the first weekend in a while when I don't have any big plans. I think I'll just lounge around and spend some time with my girlfriend. We'll pry rent a movie or go out to eat or something...no matter what it will be a great weekend!

My sister and my parents both bought a new elliptical machine that they really love. I know that they try and work out as much as they can...and it's much more convenient to do from the comfort of their own homes. I really enjoy exercising and working out as well...but I would have to say my favorite machines are treadmills. Once I finally buy a house of my own, I'm thinking that I will look into buying one for myself. I think it would be really great to have it right there. I would get a lot more exercising done that way.

I had such a nice time spending the day with my sister and niece yesterday. I got to play with Kaelyn and hold her...she is such a sweetie. She is teething right now, so she got a little fussy at times...but that's understandable. Once Scott came home from work we went out to eat and even did a little shopping. I got a few shirts for my new job position that I start on Monday, as well as a really nice new pair of tennis shoes that I really needed. I had a great time.

It's going to be nice spending some time with the fam over Easter, but I'm going to miss having Renee around. After my sister and her husband bought their house....they told me all about the whole process. One thing that they learned the most about was home owner insurance and why it's so important. Today was the warmest day of the year. I am so excited to get out of this cold weather and into some warm weather. I can't wait to go up to Minnesota and ride Jet-ski's at my brother-in-laws. It is one of my most favorite things to do in the summer.

The weather is sure nice out today!! It's been in the 40's and 50's all week!! I sure hope this is a sign that Spring is on it's way and Winter is done for the year!! I'm really looking forward to starting my new job position with John Deere. I've enjoyed the job that I have had with them over the past year, but this is definitely going to be more along the lines of what I wanted to do. I start on the 24th and I couldn't be happier. I will keep you all updated as to how the job transition goes...I think it will be great! I'm so excited and feel truly blessed to have this opportunity.

I think it would be so great to get away for a little. Somewhere not too far from here is Branson. I think it would be so nice just to go down there and visit...even if it was only for a long weekend. Today is the day I typically do laundry! I'm not really looking forward to it at all! I don't like cleaning or doing laundry, but if I had to choose, I dislike laundry more!! My brothers boss recently went to Las Vegas. He is a HUGE NASCAR fan and went to see the race this past weekend. My niece recently had her three month pictures. When I was home last weekend, my sister was asking me if I wanted a picture once they got them. Of course I said yes!! I was watching a bit of Dr Phil yesterday and his show was all about teen sex and how the schools may be promoting it even more through their education classes and some of which are handing out birth control. It was an interesting debate, and one I must side with TD Jakes on (he was a guest on the show). He basically said that parents need to start parenting their children and not allow people in the schools to be doing that. He also said that he didn't believe it was the school's place to be giving out birth control and that our country really needs a wake up call.

Within the company that I work for, I have a variety of jobs that I am responsible for! It seems that with the ever increasing work load I am given, I learn new things daily! I'm SO glad that the weather is nicer today than it was yesterday. We got a nasty storm, with sleet, snow and more!
