Diet Pills

Over the years there are times that I've been tempted to use diet pills when on the diet kick. I don't know why really, but I never have decided to go that far. Usually...eating more healthy and exercising on a regular basis works just fine for me. I'm not sure I'd ever want to use diet pills, as I know that there can be some pretty bad side effects with some of them. I guess if I were to go buy Phentermine or something like that, I'd definitely do my research and make sure that I was buying something good for me and one that worse.

New John Deere Jeans

My brother in law recently got a new job. He had a pair of jeans from his old job that he had never worn...the tags were still on them and everything. We're around the same size, so he thought I might want to buy them from him for 10 bucks...that's a SUPER price for John Deere jeans if you ask me. I guess I am a little bias, but still....10 bucks for a pair of jeans is really good. Anyways....Thankfully they fit perfect...better than any other pair I have. I'm really excited!

Baby Book

When I was home this weekend, my sister was showing us the work she's been doing on my niece's baby book! Boy has she been busy. She's doing a great job! I really like the pictures she's been using, etc. The part I liked the most was looking back on the baby showers and things like that. All of that is such a blur to me now that the baby is actually here. She even had a picture of the gifts and boy were they blessed. They got baby bedding, blankets and so much more!! They're baby really had everything she would need when she was born!

Love Being An Uncle

This past weekend I was able to go home and spend time with my wonderful family! I had fun spending time with my parents as well as my sister and her family. I got to see my niece for a little while and boy has she grown! I would say she'll be walking anytime now!! She's so active and is saying and doing so many new things now too! It's fun to see babies as they change and grow, isn't it?!?! I just love being an uncle!

Winter Getting Close

Well, I learned today that it's officially fall! I know, I know...I'm a little behind the times...but I just didn't want to face the reality of the fact I guess. It really comes as no surprise though, as it's felt like Fall out there since August. I am not ever ready for Fall, because that means that Winter is only drawling closer. Winter where I live is so bitter cold that all anyone wants to do is be indoors where it's warm. I would love to live somewhere warmer, at least for the winter.

Photoshop Creations

I often have fun on my Mac Computer...especially with the photo shop software that I have. I love to design and make new photo creations as I like to call them. I will often spend hours doing this when I have the time, and it's fun to see what I can come up with in the end. Recently I did one that was quite extensive...but very fun. I'm definitely going to post a pic of it when I get the chance. Designing is just something I thoroughly enjoy! How about you? Do you enjoy using photoshop to create art?

Have you ever been browsing the web and come across a great site that you couldn't help but share with others. I did this recently with Blog.shopwiki.com. Computer Memory

I really love my computer! I like all the programs that it has on it which allows me to design like I want, as well as all the computer memory on there. I think that's probably the most important thing to me as I do LOTS and LOTS of work on there and save it all there too! Computer memory is really important to have on any computer that you save work to. Do you have enough? If not, you can buy more. Check into it...

Most Important Meal of the Day

I have to admit, I'm not much of a breakfast eater. I'd like to be, but I just don't find the time to sit down and eat cereal or anything. Part of this is probably because I choose to sleep in as long as I can. I do want to get better about it....as drinking coffee and eating junk in the morning just doesn't start my day off well. I think I'd feel a whole lot better if I got up a little earlier and had a good, nutritious meal. Don't you think? I mean, they do say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

Turning 1!

I am really hoping that one of these weekends I can go back and visit my little niece. It's been a while since I saw her, and from what I hear she's growing like crazy. I'd love to see my little nephew too...but he lives too far away for me just to go visit for a weekend. Hopefully soon I'll be able to see both of them though. They're both almost one and I can't believe it. Neither one is walking yet, but they're both so close! I'm sure it will be really soon and they'll be walking all over the place. They change so fast.

Kitty-sitting

While I was gone on business, I decided that I couldn't leave my little Mylie home alone. I know some people do with cats, but she's still so young, and a week is such a long time. Thankfully Renee was kind enough to take her. She and her roommates loved having her around. In fact, now that they don't have her there, they miss her. Mylie is a really good kitty, and like most cats is really easy to care for. So they really didn't have a lot of responsibility with her and could just enjoy playing with her and stuff. I'm so thankful they did this...I really appreciate it!

Fun Pizza Party

Although I loved my trip to LA, I'm really happy to be home. I missed my family and Renee! Oh, and of course my little kitty Mylie. It was a lot of fun this past weekend, as I was invited to a Pizza Party that Renee and her friends were having. It was nice just to relax and not having anything to do. I enjoyed hanging out with them and spending time with the people that I missed so much while I was gone...especially Renee!! It was a lot of fun and something I hope that we do more often. Laguna Beach

Oh, and another place that I've always wanted to go is Laguna Beach. I've heard how beautiful it is and how great some of the houses are in that area! Everything I've ever heard about it doesn't even compare to the beauty of this place. We were able to visit there when I was out there on business and it's so nice!! I'm so glad I had the opportunity to check it out, as it's something I've always anted to do. My sister always talks of wanting to go there one day too...so I took lots of pics for her so she could see what it's really like. Hopefully she'll be able to go one day...she'd love it I think!

San Diego Visit

I know I'm talking a lot about California, but it's somewhere I've always enjoyed visiting and one that I even see myself living one day! Fruit Bugs-How To Get Rid Of

A few weeks ago I was visiting my sister. I noticed these little fruit bugs in their kitchen. She told me that they were having a problem with them getting in the screens, so they had to stop opening up the windows on nice days. They aren't really gross, just a pest. Well...wouldn't you know I came back to my place after my business trip and I found them in my place. Seems that they found my fruit and just the dampness of my sink and wanted to stay a while. Stories from Cali

My Mom grew up in California. She lived there for like 12 years when a child, so she actually remembers quite a bit about it. It's fun to hear her stories and hear how much has changed over the years! That's why I was really happy when I found out that I had the opportunity to go there on business a couple weeks ago! It was neat to see some of the places she k new when growing up and actually be in that area. Work Trips

With my job the one thing about it is that there is some travel involved. Some people may not like that too much, but for me it's so fun! Not only do I get to go and do what I love most, but we get to go some great places too! In October we're going to Chicago for two whole weeks for training of some new things we're going to be doing here. I'm looking forward to it, however two weeks is a long time! I don't think that will be a big deal though, as I've already decided on the school that I would go to if I decide to. Promotion??

I am so fortunate to have a job that I absolutely LOVE! Working for John Deere is a dream come true...as I've said many times! It's the best job in the world. I just love what I do. Not many people my age can say they're in a job that they could see themselves having forever...but I can and I feel truly blessed for this opportunity. I've already been promoted a couple of times just in the last couple of years, and there's already talk of advancement again. I'm actually in training right now for that and am really excited to see what the future has in store for me. It's fun to be doing well there and so settled.

Getting the PERFECT job!

My girlfriend Renee is loving being back in school and getting her master's. She is really smart and loves the field she is getting into. I know she'll do a great job. Even though the program is only a year, I know that she's excited to get out into the working world and find a job that she loves to do. She has a couple of part time jobs but it's definitely not what she wants to do forever. She's really excited to get a job that she LOVES! I don't blame her. I LOVE my job and wouldn't want anything different. I'm sure this year will go quickly and she'll be out there working in no time.

Will it be....

...a fast week, or a slow one? After having been gone for a whole week on business in California, it's really weird being back and at the office. I'm not sure how quickly this week will go now that I'm back and have a lot of work to get done. Football Time is Here!

Well, it's that time of year when football is in the air. Well, actually fall is in the air, but football is the talk of the season!! Wouldn't you agree?? I know it is with the people I'm around anyways. I've never been one to get into the football thing too much, however I have brothers who just love it!! California Trip

Well, I'm finally back from California and had a terrific time! I know I was there on business, but it doesn't change my love for the state or the cities we stayed in!! I just love the busyness of life there and all that it offers those who live there. This is the state that Renee is from and I know she would love to live there again one day. I think I would definitely be able to do that, as it is somewhere I could see us living one day too! There are definitely things I'd have to get used to, after coming from a town with only a few thousand people, but it would be a lot of fun!

Business Trip

Thank goodness it's FRIDAY...that's all I have to say!! Well, not all I have to say, but I definitely feel that way today. I'm so glad the work week is over. The thing is, I really need to step away from my computer and rest up as much as I can...as I have a VERY busy week ahead of me!! I am traveling to California for business. I think it will be a good time, but I'm also thinking it will be a lot of work...and not a lot of time for "fun" or for "leisure". I suppose I better make the most of this weekend I have to do absolutely nothing (well except for pack). Renee and I are going on a date tonight, so hopefully that will help me keep my mind of my very busy week starting Sunday.

So Glad You're Home!

I am SO glad that Renee is finally home! Although she was only gone for just over a month...which is nothing compared to last summer....I began missing her after only a few days!! I guess you tend to take people for granted when you have them around all the time. I didn't realize how much I would miss just spending time with her and seeing her each day. It's great having her back. She's busy with school, and I'm busy with work...but it's still nice to have her around. I'm glad that there aren't any long vacations like that being taken any time soon. Probably next summer...but at least that's a whole year away still!

Orlando Vacation

I was fortunate enough as a child to have gone on many family vacations. I would have to say the Orlando vacations were most memorable though. Why you ask? Well, not only is it an extremely "magical" time in a child's life to go see all of the disney characters at Disney world, but it's also wonderful to have so many fun things to do as a family there as well. I really hope to take my family there one day...as it's a vacation they would never forget.
