Moving

My brother and his family are moving back north this weekend. I'm very excited because they will now be living in the same town as me!! It will be fun to see them more than just once a year for sure! I talked to them today and they made some good progress on their move home. They have one uhaul full of cardboard moving boxes. It sounds like it all fit very tightly...but the most important thing is that it fit. The family is all coming down this weekend to help get them moved into their new place. It should be a fun weekend.

Eating Well!

Well...I'm back to reality. I sure had a nice time on vacation...I wish the time hadn't passed so quickly! I guess that's how it always goes though...have to make the best of it while you're there. One thing I can say is we ate VERY well!! I really enjoyed all of the great restaurants we got to eat at. I had never been to any of them which made it even more fun. Now that I'm home though, I feel like I need to start my exercise routine again and maybe even try a diet pill or something. I need to start eating less and more healthy. I guess you have to splurge on vacation though.

Condo Updates

Ever since moving into my condo I've been having a great time updating things and making the place more my own. Overall I'm really happy with everything and other than putting down some porcelain tile in the bathroom...don't really think there's much else to do. It feels good to have such a nice place...one that I know I've put value into in just the short time I've lived there. It's much more modern and homey....I love it!! At some point new appliances would be nice, but that's the most expensive update and one I'll be waiting on for quite some time. The ones I have now will have to do for a while longer.

Workout Room

Now that I have a bigger place I have been considering making my spare room into a workout room. I can't seem to find enough time to visit the gym, or even run outside these days....but having it conveniently located in my home would be great. I wouldn't need a lot...maybe some weights, an elliptical and treadmill. I think it would all fit!? I have a feeling if I chose to do this that I'd be working out much more. We'll have to see what I can find.

4 More Days

Just a few more days and I will be headed for Philly with my parents. My brother is graduating with his masters there so we are going out to celebrate with him. We're actually going to make quite the vacation out of it and I can't wait! I need a break from everything and a nice relaxing and fun vacation will be great! A week and a half away should be perfect. I'm counting down the days! I suppose I better start packing....

Engagement Rings

Renee and I have looked at so many different types of diamond engagement rings. We're not engaged...not even close for that matter....but it's still fun to look. There are so many unique rings out there...I hope that is something she wants. I want her to have a different ring than everyone else...not the same old thing everyone has. It's neat that there are so many options out there. What's great is that the Internet makes it super easy to browse and find the styles that suit your taste.

Almost Vacation TIme

Wow...can you believe it's almost June already?! Where did May go?!? Seriously...I can't hardly remember May it went by so quickly. I am not complaining though...the faster June comes, the sooner I get to go on vacation with my parents to Philly and New York...two places I've never been before. My brother is graduating with his masters and I'm so excited to go down and see everyone! Hopefully it will come fast!
