Credit Cards

I have noticed through the years that it's become increasingly easier to get credit cards. When I was in high school, and especially into college...it seems that everyday I got something in the mail telling me I was pre-approved for a credit card. Although I do think credit cards are a good thing to have, especially in case of an emergency or something, I also think that they can be dangerous if we don't learn how to use them responsibly! One of the most important things I've learned in using credit cards is that you should never spend more than you know you can pay back within that billing cycle. This has helped me pay my credit cards on time without consequence. It's also very important that when people receive those offers in the mail for a credit card that you always read the fine print! Sometimes the bold words can be deceiving, and there may be traps in the fine print. Especially when they are talking about 0% APR, or Fixed APR. Read it carefully and be responsible. Getting involved with credit cards that have some of these traps can be very dangerous and hurtful to our finances. Learn more on this site I came across, which discusses in greater detail hidden traps in the fine print of your credit card terms and conditions.
