Buying a House

Currently I live in an apartment. Many of my family members think that now that I have a steady job I should possibly look for a home. I've been thinking about it and they really do make a lot of sense. Where I live, it's a buyers market and I could probably find something pretty nice within my price range. It would take some time and some work...but it's definitely something I'm considering. It would be nice to put my money into something instead of throwing it down the drain like I have been for the past few years. We'll have to see what I find.
