Allegro Medical

In 1996, the company Allegro Medical was founded, and since have become one of the largest and most advanced independently owned online retailers of life enhancing products in the United States. They currently serve over 1 million customer which is pretty impressive if you ask me. They carry everything from exercise and fitness equipment and nutritional dietary supplements, to maternity/baby supplies and outdoor gear. In checking out their website I was quite impressed with their user friendly layout and how easy it was to browse their 55,000 products, including those for back support. Check them out today for yourself and see what you think. You won't be sorry you did.

IPhone 3G Voice Navigation

I am very excited for the IPhone to come out with software for turn by turn voice navigation. This means that I will no longer need my Garmin. My phone will be able to do it all, give me directions, sync up with my BMW's bluetooth handsfree system, all in one device. I have owned over 20 cell phones in my life and I don't think that there will ever be a phone that can compare to this one.

Getting Away for the Weekend

Tomorrow I am leaving to go back home for a long weekend. I have a couple of days of vacation to use up before I lose them in May, so I figured I would go and stay with my sister and brother-in-law up in Albert Lea. I will leaving Friday and come back either Sunday or Monday, depending on what happens with my offer on the Condo I made. It's great to get away and enjoy the company of my family.

Monex

The Monex Deposit Company allows you to purchase silver, gold and other precious metals for investment purposes. They immediately deliver your purchase or arrange for it to be stored in a safe place like a bank or depository. I for one think Monex is the best option as a coin dealer because they've been in business for over 30 years and are America's silver, gold and precious metals investment leader. I don't know about you, but I'd like to choose someone who's respected, trusted and experienced over someone that is not. If you have an interest in learning more about their services, you can visit their site for more information.

Struggles of buying a Condo

This is the first time that I have attempted to buy a piece of property and I am beinging to think that some people are bad sellers. I have been in negotiation with a seller on a condo, first I offered them a little lower than their asking price and they counter-offered wanting more the asking price and for me to pay all closing costs. So then I offered them $500 over their asking price and they still countered back with more than the asking price plus me paying the closing costs. And this last time I offered $1500 over the asking price and I am waiting to see what they'll do. This will probably be the final offer I will give, if we can't come to some sort of agreement I will have to let this one go.

I love candy!

I have to say that no matter how much I try to eat healthy and diet, one of my big time weaknesses is Candy. I don't eat a lot of it, but I do indulge every once in a while. One of my favorite kinds of candy would probably have to be Haribo gummy candies. All I can say is Yum!!! That is what I remember eating as a child, and still enjoy to this day. In fact, I was pretty excited to find a site recently which not only makes it psosible to find these candies....but to buy them for discounted prices and in bulk! That means I get lots of it at a price that I can definitely afford

Another thing I really appreciated was the variety of candy this site offered, as well as it's user friendliness. It was super easy for me to navigate and find exactly what I was looking for. Everything has buttons and easy to use tools to make your purchase. Whether it's jelly beans you're looking for, Gum, or gummy candies...this is definitely the place for you. Who would have thought that it would be so easy to purchase candy?! I know I didn't. I never expected to be able to order it online and have it sent right to me. I don't even have to leave my house...this is great!

Putting Offers In....

Well, so far this whole "buying a condo" thing isn't going quite as planned. I've put in a couple of outstanding offers in my opinion, but the sellers still aren't happy. I am starting to think that soon I will have to move on, but if possible would like to do one more counter offer and see if we can finalize this. I will keep everyone posted, I just wanted to update you on how it's all going. It's definitely a lot more work and time than I had anticipated. I really didn't expect this at all.

Dropshipping

I wrote recently that my sister was getting started with dropshipping on ebay. She is doing pretty well...however has found that it is not all it's cracked up to be, especially with the company she's with. They are not good to let you know when items have been shipped or when they have been backordered, so she is now having to contact sellers who are expecting their items and tell them that they will not receive it for a couple of weeks. I feel bad for her and think the company she's working with needs to communicate better.

Weight Loss products

Lately I've been more interested in these weight loss products that are out there on the market right now. I don't really know if I'd ever use them or not, but I've been having fun researching them and figuring out what it is that people are so hooked on. I do think that some of them probably work, but I think some probably don't. My question isn't so much about the effectiveness of them, but of the safety. I don't know...I'd have to know a lot more about them before making a decision I think.

I'm lovin' it!

I sure love my new car!! I couldn't be happier with the one I got. It has handled so nicely this winter and I haven't had to worry that I won't get to work after we get a lot of snow or anything. Daily I am learning new things about my little BMW which is fun too. There are just so many new features that I"ve never had with any other car before. For instance....today I learned that my headlights turn when my steering wheel turns. Isn't that crazy?! I thought that was pretty neat.

Making Money

Blogging has become quite a popular way to make some extra money. Almost everyone I talk with at least knows about it, if not actually does it. I got into blogging for money a few years ago...and although I enjoyed it, I found that I didn't have a lot of time for it. I still do it every once in a while, but far less than I used to. That's probably good though, as I hear it's not necessarily the happening job it once was. I think the economy may have something to do with that. I hope for the sake of others who do this and depend on it, that it picks up soon.

Wedding Planning

Wedding planning is something many people are getting ready to do...as Spring and Summer seem to be the most popular times to get married. I hope for the stress level of many brides and grooms to be, that they are using the help that the WeddingChannel.com provides. This is a site that's been helping people plan weddings since 1997! They offer planning tools, advice, photos, a vendor guide, online registry for Wedding Gifts and so much more! With planning something as large as a wedding, it's important to find trustworthy help and that's what this site offers. I wanted to pass them along, as I think it will be something many people could use at this point.

Our Economy

Have you noticed how the problems our economy is having has affected every facet of our lives?!? It's very sad. Not only are we hearing the news that many companies are closing down, or letting people go...but we're also seeing a rise in prices in everything from gas to postage stamps. I understand the need for this, but at the same time don't see how a rise in prices is going to help anyone get back on their feet. I hope our government can come up with a good plan....it's quite a difficult time.

Asset Management

I recently came across a great company that I thought others would be interested in learning about as well. This company can help your business run even more smoothly than it already does, with with their automated asset tracking. I don't know about you, but I know many people who could benefit from the products and services they offer...especially Asset Management. This is definitely an interesting concept and one I want to look into even further so as to learn more. You can learn more by checking them out. Whether it's a Barcode Scanners or rfid, this is the place for you!

Buying a condo

Yesterday I went and looked at condos in my area. So far I have two possibilities that I would consider. One is very modern...painted, fireplace, etc. The other one is brand new, larger, but no fireplace and very bland. I don't know what I'm going to do yet, but my family members like the painted one better. I'd really like to make a decision soon...so I'm hoping within a few days I can make one based on the features of each.

Carbon Offsetting

Today I was sitting in traffic after work (the busiest time of day) and got to thinking about how much carbon pollution is created by our vehicles! It's a TON! Have you ever thought about this before. I got home and did some searching and happened to find www.carbonadvicegroup.com. They make it easy to figure out how much pollution your car creates per year, as well as how you can offset that. You can also calculate the number of trees that should be planted to offset it also. It was a very interesting site and oen I'd never come across before. I thought I'd pass it along for others who are interseted in learning more about Carbon Offsettingtheir unique environmental initiatives.

Bad Experience With eBay

Have you ever had a bad ebay experience?? I hadn't until now. I decided to sell my old phone on there, which was still in great condition. I sold it, and as always just shipped it out (no tracking on it). I've NEVER had a problem, until this sale. The buyer purchases many phones at once, and if the seller does not have a tracking number he assumes he did not get it. I have come to the conclusion that this is a very unorganized way to buy on ebay. I'm bummed because he says he did not get the phone, and alhtough I believe he did...have no way of proving it. After 183 dollars...I've learned my lesson for next time!

Rave About It

Whenever I come across a noteworthy site, I enjoy passing it along. Recently I came across a great site I thought others would like. Rave About It is the site and they offer Local Business Reviews. Not only do you get reviews, but also rating from other users. I think this is great for people searching for information on florists, hairdressers, cinemas Sydney, and more! It's a very user friendly site and easy to navigate which I found wonderful as well. You'll have to check it out if you get the chance.

Make Money From Home

My sister informed me that they are embarking on a new business venture. So far it seems to be going pretty well for them. She's a stay at home mom, and although busy with their little girl...she enjoys keeping busy with little things to make money. She's pretty smart and has made a pretty good income with some of her ideas lately. I'm excited for them and the business they are starting.

Life Broker

With the way our economy is today, it's important that we think ahead and still are smart about the decisions we make for our future. One of those things would be life insurance. Even though money is tight, it's important that we don't overlook the importance of having some sort of life insurance. The main thing is to look for something that is affordable for your situation. I found LifeBroker to be the most helpful when it came to life insurance, as well as for income protection insurance. Have you ever worried that one day you'll have your job, and the next you won't? If so, you may want to consider income protection. They make it easy for you to apply and get quotes. You can do it all here....so head over and get started. You won't be sorry you did!

Blog Overhaul

I have decided that this blog needs and overhaul. I am going to be taking some time in the near future re doing the template and other things with it. I'm excited about the outcome and I hope are too. I really think it will help in the appearance and readability. Every blog needs a touch up every once in a while, right? Think it's way past time for this one. So...if I'm slow to update that's why. Just know that I will be back and it will be better than ever!

Getting a New Watch

Lately watches have kind of been something I'm into buying for myself. I never had to dress up in my last job, so now that I have to, I enjoy wearing watches more. I'm not in my office a lot of the time either, so having one to let me know what time it is, is nice too. I already have a few, but am now looking into Oakley watches. I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet, but it's definitely an option. They are very nice and offer the look and style I'm looking for.My brother in law has one and loves it, so I think I will as well.

Key man Insurance

There are so many companies who are struggling due to the economy. Many are doing whatever they can to stay afloat. It's times like now that many of these businesses will want things like key man insurance, which is a life insurance policy used by a business to help protect them in the case of an employees death. Having this will make it less likely that problems for the company will arrise, even though the death of a key man can be hard. If you're business is looking for something like this, it might be a good idea to check into it sooner than later.

Taken

My parents are seeing the movie Taken tonight. I really think they're going to like it. I saw it this weekend and it's an amazing movie. Anyone who enjoys action and an intense movie would love it I think. My sister and her husband saw it as well and really enjoyed it. It's definitely one that I'd like to own if I have the chance. I think my family will too.

Advanced Heart Rate Monitor

For anyone who is or who knows someone who is a cardiac rehab patient, you know how useful a heart rate monitor can be. Well...you'll be happy to know that Seiko now has a new heart rate monitor that doesn't even use a chest strap!! This advanced heart rate monitor is new and different, and specifically designed for cardiac rehab patients. Why you ask? Well, because it is good for back and forth types of motion and only uses a finger sensor. What's great about this is that the monitor can be hooked up to your computer so that you not only monitor and analyze the data, but also so that doctors can access the info. This is probably the best benefit of using it! Having 24/7 health surveillance like this has to be very comforting for these patients. You can learn more about this strapless heart rate monitor at Advancedhrm.com.

Great Movie

Have you seen the movie Taken yet? I just did and it's absolutely amazing. The suspense is incredible. Prior to seeing this the last movie that really had me on the edge of my chair was Eagle Eye. This was 100 times better than that. It literally was action packed and had you interested the whole time. I am a movie buff and would suggest anyone who has time to check out this movie...do so. It's in many theaters right now. You won't be sorry you did.

Pat Moore Foundation

There are many drug and alcohol treatment centers out there, but some are better than others. People need to do their research and find what's best for them. I for one would recommend looking into Pat Moore Foundation. Why? Well, I've learned that they not only have 23 years experience which is very impressive, but also have a center that actually specializes in helping people with alcohol and drug addiction through medical detox. They are real and down to earth. It's truly the real deal....not a place that you hear all the celebrities going and relaxing for weeks and months at a time. Check out their site for more information on alcohol detox and drug detox.

Working From omeH

My sister e-mailed me today wondering what other ways she could make money online. I told her that many people are very successful selling on ebay. She did some looking and she came to find that although this is true, it usually takes some money to get started. You have to buy what you're looking for at a reasonable price, and then sell for a profit. It's not easy, but once the ball is rolling it can truly be very profitable. I think she's going to give it a try and see how it goes. I have learned of many people doing this for a living at home.

Personal Trainer

I have a good friend who is going to school for exercise science. She is not sure what she will end up doing with her degree...but loves the personal training experience she is getting while there. I could see her being great at that. She was telling me that currently they're learning of diet pills and the positive and negative effects of different brands. I told her I didn't know much about them, but that there are also some good weight loss pill reviews out there on the web if she was interested. I think she was going to check them out, as she needs to keep current on all that for the sake of the people she's training and the questions they may have.

Furnishing My Home

I feel very blessed to have so much at such a young age. I've been able to comfortably furnish my apartment and it's really coming together. There are a couple of things that I'm still keeping my out for...a new bed and a couple of tv stands...but all in all it's a really nice place. My next venture might very well be a large condo in the area. I look forward to that, as then I will have room for even more things. I am thankful for family who has given me much of what I have, and look forward to purchasing more in the future.
