My sister and brother-in-law got a large pool this summer for their backyard. Their kids are getting to the age where they're beginning to learn to swim, and it was cheaper for them to invest in a pool, rather than go to the local pool every day during the summer. I think it's great, and although I didn't use it...it sure looked like a lot of fun! I know next summer they're actually thinking about upgrading to a larger pool even, and want to get a pool heat pump as well. That will be really nice, as they won't have to wait until the middle of the day for the water to warm up by the sun before using it. I'm sure their kids will love it too!
