Get Rich Quick??

Have you ever noticed how many of the youth today expect to "get rich quick" and have everything right away?? I've begun to notice this as I get older and I began to wonder why. In looking around the internet, researching this question more in depth, I've found that my theory is correct, and most children who are in their teens right now expect to be making 6 figures or more. Although I believe in thinking positively in believing that you'll do well in life, I feel that the youth of today expect it all right now! Some don't seem to want to work towards it, start at the bottom and move up. From what I've read and found, the younger generation thinks that this is how it will be when they are adults because they see it all over the television everyday. We see famous people who have everything and that's what they want, so it falls on our society as well. I think one of the biggest things parents can do with their children when they are young is get them some experience, hands on experience I should say, with money. I think this was the biggest eye-opener for myself. When you actually get to have and use money in a realistic way, you get a better idea of what a budget means, etc.
