Voice Over Internet Protocol
If you have not yet heard about the new VOIP technology, then listen up! VoIP, or Voice over Internet Protocol, is an enormously fast-growing technology that allows people to use the internet to make phone calls. One of its advantages is that with many VoIP plans you can talk for as long as you want with any person in the world (as long as the other person has an Internet connection). You can also talk with many people at the same time without any additional cost. Because calls are promised to be cheap or free, one of the primary attractions of VoIP is its ability to help companies reduce expenses by allowing telephone calls to travel over the data network rather than the phone company's network.
